NORTH SHORE CHALLENGE

​ESCORT BOATS FOR RELAY + IRON PADDLERS:

• Escort boats must be motorized and at least 17ft. NO Jet skis are allowed for Escort.

• Escort registration below must be completed.

• Escort boat captains and support crew must understand and abide by all current MPH race and MPH escort boat rules.

• Should your escort boat be unable to start the race or be unable to continue escorting you during the race, you or the escort captain must notify the race officials immediately and follow the instructions of the race officials, which may include pulling you from the race, with or without your racing boat & equipment. MPH CANNOT TOW or repair any escort boats or participant’s boats.

• Selection and hiring of an Escort Boat & Captain is the responsibility of the paddler. 

 

Please make sure you have the following information before starting this process:

• Name(s) of all paddlers you are escorting

• Proof of Hull & Machinery (aka Comprehensive/Collision or Property) insurance

• Proof of Protection & Indemnity (aka Liability) insurance

• Copy of Boat Operators NASBLA Certificate/License.
