Joey Tihada, 27 year FedEx employee, long time Napili Canoe Club coach and Lahainaluna Football coach, lost his home to the wildfires in Lahaina that started on Tuesday, 08/08/23. Joey was at work on Tuesday morning’s delivering package to the community he grew up in before we abruptly stopped operations to let our folks get home. Joey made it home in time to gather his 2 dogs and son Kaulana. They were able to evacuate to safety and are currently out on the west side without power and unable to return to their home that was lost to the blaze. Joey’s wife, Sheri, and 2 sons, Justice and Joshua, are also safe in town. They were not in Lahaina when the fires started. His FedEx family is helping in every way that we can and this is being setup in an effort to reach our family members across the US that have reached out to lend support and prayers for all of us through this tough time. All funds will go directly to the Tihada family to help them rebuild what they have lost. Thank you all for your support, prayers and love.
